Talley anchored Buffalo defense


Darryl Talley, who played at West Virginia, was coveted by both the Buffalo Bills and the USFL's New Jersey Generals. Both teams selected Talley in the second round. Talley chose the Bills. Talley, a linebacker, anchored the Buffalo defense along with Bruce Smith and Shane Conlan during its four straight Super Bowl appearances (1990-1993).

  • Talley was named to the Pro Bowl in 1990 and 1991.

  • He had 12 career interceptions, returning two for touchdowns.

  • Talley played with the Bills from 1983-94.
