There will be tremendous electricity in the air on Thursday night when the greatest rivalry in college basketball is renewed. That's right, Duke and North Carolina square off for first place in the ACC standings (9 p.m. ET, ESPN2).

There are a lot of stars capable of shining here. You have Jason Williams and Shane Battier of Duke, Joseph Forte and Brendan Haywood of North Carolina. Then there is the coaching duel between Coach K and the emotional Matt Doherty.

One player to watch for as a key is Kris Lang of the Tar Heels. He can be a very dangerous player in this game because of his size and unique ability to score in the low blocks. He can use either hand and has a soft touch around the basket when needed.

Lang is also a capable rebounder. The big question is this: Will the size of North Carolina create havoc for the Duke Blue Devils?
