FLUSHING, New York (Ticker) -- The scheduled game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Mets at Shea Stadium has been postponed due to snow. The game has been rescheduled for Monday, April 24 at 7:10 p.m. EDT. This was Los Angeles' only trip into New York so the game was rescheduled for a travel day while the Dodgers are on the East Coast. The Mets concluded their five-game homestand 2-3 and travel to Philadelphia for the Phillies' home opener. New York was going to recall lefthander Glendon Rusch to start today but may opt to bypass him and keep Bobby Jones on his regular turn. The Dodgers have an off day on Monday and partake in the first regular season game played at Pacific Bell Park in San Francisco on Tuesday. Chan Ho Park, Los Angeles' scheduled starter, is expected to be pushed back a day. The teams split the opening two games of the series.
