KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) _ Kevin Stocker had a two-run double in the 10th inning as the Anaheim Angels beat the Kansas City Royals 7-4 Wednesday night.

Stocker's double off Jose Santiago (7-6) came with one out and capped a three-run inning. Troy Glaus gave Anaheim a 5-4 lead when he reached on an error by shortstop Luis Ordaz and beat Mike Sweeney's throw to the plate on Adam Kennedy's grounder to first.

Sweeney's two-run single, his 200th hit of the season, tied the game at 4 in the ninth against Troy Percival.

Percival (5-5), who has blown 10 of his 40 save opportunities, started the ninth with a 4-2 lead but loaded the bases with a one-out single and a pair of walks.

He got off to a quick 0-2 count on Sweeney, but Sweeney worked the count full and then fouled off two pitches before punching the game-tying single up the middle.

Mark Petkovsek pitched the 10th for his second save.

Sweeney, who walked in his first three plate appearances, also hit an infield single in the eighth. Teammate Johnny Damon has 201 hits, giving the Royals their first 200-hit tandem in club history, but is hitless in his last 12 at-bats.

Garret Anderson's two-run double capped a four-run fifth inning for the Angels.

Carlos Beltran, making his second career start in right field for the Royals, opened the door for Anaheim's four-run fifth inning with two outs.

Beltran, normally a center fielder, misjudged Orlando Palmeiro's short fly ball and started back toward the wall. He slipped as he ran forward and the ball fell in for an RBI double.

Mo Vaughn followed with an RBI single and Anderson added a two-run double.

The Royals took a 2-0 lead on RBI singles by Rey Sanchez in the third inning and Carlos Febles in the fourth off Angels starter Al Levine. Levine gave up six hits in 4 1-3 innings, with four walks and two strikeouts.

Palmeiro was 3-for-5 with two doubles for Anaheim, and Jorge Fabregas went 3-for-4 for Kansas City. ^Notes: Anderson has 14 RBIs against Kansas City this season, a team high. ... The announced attendance of 11,442 was a season low at Kauffman Stadium. ... Anaheim's Glaus still needs one more extra-base hit to tie Doug DeCinces' club record of 77, set in 1982. Glaus singled once, reached on an error and struck out three times on Wednesday. ... Kansas City's Joe Randa went 0-for-5, grounding into two double plays, and had an 11-game hitting streak snapped.
