Released by the Philadelphia Phillies on June 17 after batting just .236 in 60 games ... Signed by the Atlanta Braves as a free agent on June 23 ... Traded by the Atlanta Braves to the Seattle Mariners for minor league pitcher Roger Blanco on Aug. 14, 1996 ... Hit a solo HR to right in his first official at-bat with Seattle on Aug. 16 at the NY Yankees.
