ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) _ Chris Gatling scored 23 points as the Orlando Magic snapped a five-game losing streak with a 116-96 victory over the Vancouver Grizzlies on Wednesday night. Orlando's reserves outscored Vancouver's backups 56-26 and took control defensively in the second quarter to help the Magic win for the first time since a Dec. 23 victory over Charlotte. Tariq Abdul-Wahad added 17 points for Orlando, John Amaechi had 16, Darrell Armstrong 15, and rookie Corey Maggette 10 in his first NBA start. Abdur-Rahim led Vancouver with 17 points. Michael Dickerson added 16 points, Mike Bibby had 14 and Othella Harrington 12 for the Grizzlies, who beat Miami on Tuesday night for their second road victory of the season. Orlando, with five reserves on the floor, took a 53-36 lead on Gatling's jumper with 4:22 remaining in the first half, but the Grizzlies managed to cut it to 55-45 at halftime. Abdur-Rahim scored the opening basket of the second half to make it 55-47, but that was the last time the Grizzlies were within 10 points the rest of the way. The Magic led by as many as 21 points in the fourth quarter. Notes: The Grizzlies are 0-18 when they give up 100 points. Vancouver is 2-13 on the road and 7-24 overall. ... Orlando is 16-16 overall and 7-8 at home.
