SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) -- Tim Duncan enjoyed the early advantage, but it was Chris Webber making all the plays when it counted most.

Webber had 34 points and 19 rebounds Thursday night as the Sacramento Kings rallied in the fourth quarter for a 107-103 victory over the San Antonio Spurs.

Chris Webber, right, and Tim Duncan staged a classic duel between two of the NBA's top young stars.

In an even matchup of two of the game's top forwards, Webber's team emerged with the victory. He ignited the decisive rally, scoring 10 straight points in one stretch as Sacramento won its third straight game and became only the second team this year to score over 100 points on the Spurs.

Duncan finished with 33 points and 20 rebounds for the Spurs, who squandered a 14-point lead and had their three-game win streak snapped.

"It might have been fun to watch, but it wasn't fun to play against them (Duncan and David Robinson)," Kings center Vlade Divac said. "Chris has been unbelievable lately. He amazed me early in the season, now I expect it."

Duncan had 16 points in the first quarter and 20 points and 12 rebounds by halftime, helping San Antionio take a 61-54 lead. He was limited to only two field goals and nine points in the second half.

"Tim Duncan is such a great player," Kings coach Rick Adelman said. "He has so many facets to his game, similar to what Chris is doing now. He's just a very tough player to guard."

Despite going over four minutes without a field goal in the fourth quarter, the Kings maintained a slim lead.

Webber made an acrobatic basket off a drive and followed with a jumper over Duncan, putting the Kings ahead 101-96 with 2:28 remaining.

Robinson had 17 points, Avery Johnson added 15 and Mario Elio scored 13.

"Both teams got after it and down the stretch they obviously shot it very, very well," Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said. "So they deserved to win."

Jason Williams scored 22 points for Sacramento and Nick Anderson had 10. Predrag Stojakovic opened the fourth quarter with two 3-pointers and a jumper. The Kings made six of their first seven shots, including a jumper by Webber, putting Sacramento ahead 95-90 at the 8:05 mark.

"He (Webber) played a great game," Duncan said. "He shot the ball well down the stretch, and those are shots that on any given night on a usual basis, I don't give up those shots at the top of the key. But he made three in a row."

After trailing by 12 points midway through the third period, the Kings went on a 13-3 run, pulling within two points. Despite making 8-of-31 shots in the third quarter, the Kings closed to 84-81.

Despite three fouls, Robinson had 11 first-half points and Terry Porter came off the bench for 10.

Webber had 14 points and eight rebounds in the opening half and Jason Williams added 13 points for Sacramento, which shot 39 percent.
