CLEVELAND (AP) _ Lamond Murray missed an off-balance 15-footer just before the overtime buzzer and Allen Iverson scored 28 points on a dreadful shooting night Tuesday as the Philadelphia 76ers beat the Cleveland Cavaliers, 98-97. Iverson went just 10-for-29 from the field, but scored four points in OT as the Sixers completed a four-game sweep of the Cavs this season. Aaron McKie scored 20 points and made three huge 3-pointers, and George Lynch added 15 points and 10 rebounds for Philadelphia. McKie's final 3 with 1:17 left put the Sixers up 98-95, but rookie Andre Miller countered for the Cavs with a short jumper 14 seconds later. Toni Kukoc missed a 3-pointer on Philadelphia's next trip, but Danny Ferry, whose 3-pointer late in regulation helped force overtime, missed a 3-pointer with 28 seconds remaining. Iverson, who forced shots all night, was way off on a 14-footer with 3.6 seconds left and the Cavs called a quick timeout. Cleveland ran an isolation play on the left side for Murray, who dribbled toward the middle of the lane and got a good look at the basket. But his shot bounced off the front rim just before time expired. Miller had 14 points, eight assists and seven rebounds for the Cavs, who dropped their fourth straight. Murray had 16 and Ferry 15. George Lynch's two free throws gave the Sixers an 84-73 with 3:41 remaining in regulation, but the Cavs scored seven straight. Philadelphia, which had gone on an 18-3 run earlier in the period, appeared in control when Iverson made two free throws with 1:03 to play, but Bob Sura's layup off a nice feed from Miller brought the Cavs within three. Iverson missed with 36 seconds left and following a timeout, Cleveland tied it when Ferry drilled a 3-pointer from the left wing with 22.4 seconds left. The Sixers had time for one last shot, but Eric Snow missed a 20-footer just before the horn. Iverson, the league's leading scorer who scored 50 points here as a rookie, was frustrated most of the night and was forcing shots when he began to find his range in the fourth quarter. Following a sequence in which he was twice elbowed by Sura, Iverson hit a long floater in the lane, then buried two straight jumpers to put the Sixers up 75-72 with 6:48 left. Iverson was called for his second personal late in the first quarter and began the second period on the bench. But with McKie scoring seven points, the Sixers went on a 15-6 run to take a 39-31 lead. However, after Iverson went out again after picking up his third foul, the Cavs closed the half with an 8-0 spurt, capped by Ferry's 3-pointer to take a 50-47 haltime lead. Notes: Rick Majerus, Miller's college coach at Utah, was at the game along with the entire Utah team. The Runnin' Utes are in town to play in this week's NCAA Midwest Regional. They play Saint Louis in the first round on Thursday. ... Offensive tackle Orlando Brown, whose suspension for shoving a referee was recently dropped by the NFL, was one of several members of the Cleveland Browns on hand. ... Philadelphia activated F Tyrone Hill and placed guard Ira Bowman on the injured list before the game. Hill, who got 12 rebounds in 24 minutes, is now 9-0 this season against his three former teams: the Cavs, Milwaukee Bucks and Golden State Warriors.
