CLEVELAND (AP) -- Jamal Mashburn found his rhythm at just the right time for the Miami Heat on Saturday night. Mashburn scored 29 points, including Miami's last 10 in overtime, to spark the Heat to a 92-90 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. "You live for moments like this," Mashburn said after breaking a 90-90 tie with a 22-foot jumper with three seconds to play. He scored 14 of the Heat's final 16 points. "I got into a good rhythm, which was tough to do with all the fouls," Mashburn said. Shawn Kemp guarded the quicker Mashburn on the winning shot. "I think he was kind of scared that I would go by him," Mashburn said. "So he gave me the jumper a little bit. He's probably not as comfortable guarding on the perimeter." Brevin Knight's driving layup with 22.9 seconds left tied the score at 90. Knight missed an 8-foot runner as time expired. Kemp led Cleveland with 22 points despite shooting just 5-for-16 from the field. Miami center Alonzo Mourning fouled out with 4:05 to play in regulation and had just four points and five rebounds. "The bottom line is we pulled an ugly, ugly win out and Jamal put us on his shoulders and carried us," Mourning said. The Cavaliers had forced overtime on Bob Sura's driving layup with 4.8 seconds left in regulation that tied the score at 80. "I knew I could get to the basket without Alonzo in there," Sura said. "(Bruce) Bowen had been playing me tight all night and I knew I could drive on him." The third quarter typified the ragged game. The clubs combined for 21 personal fouls, nine turnovers and shot 21 percent (7-of-34) from the field. After Kemp's slam dunk tied the score at 51, the clubs combined to make just one shot from the field, a driving layup by Tim Hardaway, in the final 9:12 of the quarter. On three consecutive Cleveland possessions, Lamond Murray had two shots blocked and threw the ball out of bounds in a 1:06 span. Moments later, Cavs rookie guard Andre Miller had three turnovers within 30 seconds. Miami missed eight of 12 free throws in the quarter, while Cleveland made 10 of 14 from the line to manage a 61-59 lead. "It wasn't the prettiest of games, but I thought there were two teams that really banged and went at each other pretty hard all night both ways," Cavs coach Randy Wittman said. Mashburn's 13-point first quarter helped Miami to a 32-26 lead. Cleveland picked up its defensive effort in the second quarter and limited Miami to 30 percent (6-for-20) shooting and trailed at halftime, 47-44. Game notesHeat forward P.J. Brown suffered a sprained left ankle in the third minute of the game and did not return. ... It was just the second time in Mourning's last 87 games that he did not score in double figures. The other time was also against Cleveland, when he had nine on Feb. 25. ... Cleveland's Andrew DeClercq had 10 first-half points. He had not scored in double figures in his previous 29 games. ...
