OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) _ Karl Malone scored 19 points and Bryon Russell had 17 Friday night as the Utah Jazz improved to 23-5 since the All-Star break by beating the Golden State Warriors 105-84.

John Stockton added 14 points and 10 assists and Howard Eisley had 13 points for Utah, which beat the Warriors for the 16th straight time, including all four meetings this season.

Larry Hughes had 14 points to lead the Warriors and Vonteego Cummings added 13. Golden State, plagued by injuries all season, lost Donyell Marshall midway through the first quarter with tendinitis in his left knee.

Golden State coach Garry St. Jean wasn't around to see much of the lastest debacle by the Warriors, losers of 11 straight and 19 of the last 20.

St. Jean was ejected with 2:16 left in the second quarter, drawing two technicals for heatedly arguing a foul call on Adonal Foyle.

The shoving foul against Foyle came as he and Malone fought for position away from the ball. St. Jean, after he drew the first technical, kept yelling at official Monty McCutchen to give him another one. It didn't take McCutchen long to oblige, and assistant Rod Higgins stepped in to finish coaching the game .

Stockton made both technical free throws, which came in the midst of a 15-7 run that put the Jazz up 55-37 at halftime.

Malone, leading the Jazz in scoring for a 12th straight game despite playing just 27 minutes, hit an 18-foot jumper to begin the spree. He also converted a three-point play near the end, muscling in a fastbreak layup over Foyle despite being fouled.

The Jazz quashed any comeback bid by the Warriors with an explosive third-quarter start. Russell shook loose for layups on consecutive fast breaks and Olden Polynice went in for a dunk as Utah pulled away to a 62-41 lead in the opening minutes of the period.

Armen Gilliam's 18-foot jumper with 51 seconds left in the third gave the Jazz a 25-point lead, and even though Sam Jacobson responded with a 3-pointer for the Warriors, Utah still led 84-61 going into the fourth quarter.

Notes: The start of the second half was delayed for about 10 minutes while a technician fixed a malfunctioning shot clock. ...
