TORONTO (AP) -- All Dell Curry needed was some playing time. Curry scored 16 points in 20 minutes, hitting all four 3-pointers he attempted, as the Toronto Raptors beat the Los Angeles Clippers 106-100 Friday night. "That's my job. To come off the bench and spark the offense," Curry said. "It's the first time in a while I've played that many consistent minutes. It's tough when you only play three or five minutes (straight) to get your rhythm going." Antonio Davis scored 20 points and Vince Carter added 19, snapping his team-record string of seven straight games with at least 20 points. "Dell was a big lift. He came in and got us going," said Carter, whose team lost at Washington on Thursday. "We had penetration and shooting going and hopefully that will be there for us." Curry hit a 29-foot, 3-pointer at the buzzer of the third quarter to narrow the Clippers lead to 72-70 and hit two more 3's in the fourth to help the Raptors pull away. Davis had a pair of big baskets with four minutes left, including a big jam, to open up a nine-point lead for the Raptors. Troy Hudson scored 14 of his 20 points in the third quarter, for the Clippers, who have lost five of their last six games. Brian Skinner had 18 points, 16 rebounds and four blocks, and Eric Piatkowski added 19 points. Rookie Lamar Odom had 16 points and seven rebounds before fouling out with 2:12 left in the chippy game. Teammate Michael Olowokandi, who was jawing with several Raptors in the fourth quarter, was given a big cheer when he fouled out with 3:18 left. The 7-foot center had only two points and one rebound in 15 minutes. The Clippers, who were without Derek Anderson (concussion), Tyrone Nesby (wife had baby) and Maurice Taylor (sprained foot), dressed only nine players. "We were shorthanded to begin with and then Olowokandi got in early foul trouble," coach Chris Ford said. "We gave them everything that we could give them (but) Toronto has a lot of different weapons. You try to cut one thing off and they go to someone else." The Clippers missed 14 of their first 15 shots, highlighted by an easy dunk attempt that Skinnner banged off the rim, as the Raptors broke out to a 15-2 lead.
