CLEVELAND (AP) -- Dale Davis scored all 12 of his points in the second half and Rik Smits added 18 to lead the Indiana Pacers to a 107-98 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday night.

Reggie Miller
Reggie Miller scored 13 points on 5-for-13 shooting.

Davis hit all six of his shots in the third quarter when the Pacers outscored the Cavs 31-16 to overturn a six-point halftime deficit and take control.

Jalen Rose had 22 points and nine assists and Reggie Miller scored 13 points for the Pacers, who were coming off a Friday night home loss to Atlanta. Mark Jackson also had nine assists as Indiana won its fourth straight over Cleveland.

Shawn Kemp, who missed all seven of his shots in the second half in a loss at Detroit on Friday, scored a season-high 29 points on 13-of-24 shooting to lead the Cavs, who dropped their third in a row. Kemp added 15 rebounds.

Bob Sura had 21 points for Cleveland, who was able to dress only 10 players after backup center Mark Bryant and forward Danny Ferry sustained injuries on Friday.

The lack of frontcourt depth made it nearly impossible for the Cavs to stop the 7-foot-4 Smits and 6-foot-11 Davis, who combined to shoot 10-for-13 in the decisive third quarter.

Trailing by six, the Pacers came out in the third quarter determined to take advantage of their size. Looking to either Smits and Davis as their first offensive option on each possession, Indiana opened the quarter with a 19-2 run to take a 71-60 lead. Davis and Smits scored eight points apiece in the burst.

The Pacers made 12 of 14 shots to open the period and took their biggest lead at 77-64 when Jackson hit a one-handed runner in the lane.

But Cavs rookie guard Andre Miller scored eight points in a 3:28 span to keep Cleveland close.

Wesley Person's 3-pointer brought the Cavs within 88-81 early in the fourth, but Travis Best hit two jumpers, Sam Perkins drained a 3 and Rose fed Austin Croshere for an alley-oop dunk to put the Pacers up by 15 and put the Cavs away.

Sura scored 15 points in the first quarter, including 11 straight in Cleveland's 11-0 run as the Cavs opened a 36-28 lead after one.

Indiana used its long-range game to stay close in the second quarter. Perkins' 3-pointer was followed by two treys from Miller and Indiana closed within 58-52 at half despite shooting just 44 percent from the floor.

Game notes
Despite its bigger lineup, the Pacers were still outrebounded 43-34. ... Kemp entered the game shooting just 37 percent from the field. ... Bryant, who suffered a strain lumbar during warmups Friday night, stayed home to rest his back. Ferry was kept out after straining a calf muscle in the first quarter at Detroit. He is day-to-day. ... The Cavs are 3-2 at home this season. ... Kemp was whistled for a technical foul in the fourth quarter when he stuck his hand in Croshere's face.
