HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) _ Marcus Camby scored 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as the New York Knicks defeated the Washington Wizards 95-90 in an exhibition game Monday night. Camby, a Hartford native, had eight points and four rebounds in the third quarter as the Knicks whittled a 12-point deficit to three. New York (3-0) opened the fourth quarter with a 10-0 run and held a five-point lead with 1:20 remaining. Washington's Dontae Jones hit a 3-pointer with 50 seconds remaining that pulled the Wizards within 92-90. Knicks reserve center Travis Knight grabbed a key rebound on a Washington miss with 16 seconds remaining, and the Knicks' Chris Childs and Erick Strickland added five free throws in the final seconds to seal the win. Kurt Thomas also had 16 points for the Knicks. Juwan Howard led the Wizards (1-2) with 19 points, while Jahidi White had 13 points and 10 rebounds. Rod Strickland and Mitch Richmond each had 13 points for the Wizards.
