College highlights at St. John's

Finished third on team in scoring (14.3 ppg) as a senior and was a Second Team All-Big East selection. He led the team in rebounding (6.9 rpg) and free throw shooting (.809). Reached double figures in scoring 28 times and recorded three double-doubles. Led the team in scoring seven times and was its top rebounder 14 times.

Hit 17 consecutive free throws at one point during the season. Set a career-high with 26 points, including 10-for-10 from the line, vs. West Virginia. Scored 23 points and grabbed seven rebounds in a win at Connecticut. Named to the Big East All-Tournament Team after averaging 16.0 ppg and 7.7 rpg as St John's won its first Big East Championship since 1986. Played all 40 minutes in the championship game vs. Connecticut and had 14 points and eight rebounds.

As a junior, named to the NCAA South Region All-Tournament Team as the Red Storm advanced to the Elite Eight where they lost to Ohio State. Postell led St. John's with 24 points vs. the Buckeyes.
