Early entry candidate for the 2000 NBA Draft. Named Honorable Mention All-America by The Associated Press each of the past two seasons. Ranks fifth at Ohio State in career field goals made (699), 77 behind Hall of Fame player and NBA legend Jerry Lucas. Also ranks fifth in career points (1,879). Ranks seventh all-time in career steals with 149. Started all 96 games in OSU career.

College highlights at Ohio State

Earned First Team Big Ten Conference honors as a junior. Selected as Big Ten Conference Player of the Week (February 12), averaging 23 points and 7.5 rebounds in road games against Michigan State and Indiana. Led team with 29 double-figure-scoring games. Second on the team with four games of 10 or more rebounds. In the last 10 games, scored at least 20 points six times while shooting 50 percent or better six times.

As a sophomore, made Big Ten All-Tournament team after averaging 25.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. Shared team MVP with point guard Scoonie Penn. Led team in scoring (19.5 ppg) and ranked second in rebounding (5.6 rpg). One of only six players in the nation to score at least 700 points (703). Scored in double figures in every game. Averaged 19.8 points, 6.4 rebounds and dished 16 assists in five NCAA Tournament games.

As a freshman, earned a spot on Basketball Weekly's All-Freshman First Team and named Big Ten Freshman of the Year. Became just the third Buckeye to earn conference Freshman of the Year honors, following NBA player Jim Jackson (1990) and Greg Simpson (1993). Led Buckeyes in scoring (21.9 ppg), rebounding (6.5 rpg) and steals (61). Led Big Ten in scoring, marking the first time a true freshman has ever led the conference in scoring.

Averaged a team high 37.9 minutes per game. Set six OSU freshman records, including most points (658), scoring average, field goals (241), free throws (130), three-point field goals (46) and steals (61).
