College highlights at Cincinnati
Started 30 of 32 games at power forward alongside National Player of the Year Kenyon Martin as a senior, averaging 4.6 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. Scored nine points in season opener against Youngstown State. Blocked 11 shots in three games in the Big Island Invitational. Scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds in win over Ohio. Grabbed season-high 10 rebounds vs. Memphis. Recorded four blocks against North Carolina-Wilmington in first round of NCAA Tournament.

As a junior, became top backup for center/power forward positions upon becoming eligible following first semester. Grabbed a career-high 14 rebounds and scored nine points in win over Minnesota. Promoted to starting lineup at power forward January 16 against Oklahoma and responded with a career-high four blocked shots. Scored 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds vs. Louisville. Grabbed 11 rebounds in Conference USA Tournament Semifinal.

Sat out 1997-98 season. Transferred to Cincinnati from Ohio State in mid-December, 1997.

College highlights at Ohio State
Played 16 games as a sophomore at Ohio State before being sidelined by a heart ailment. Averaged 14.1 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.

As a freshman at Ohio State, earned team MVP honors after averaging 11.0 points and 6.9 rebounds. Led team in rebounding and blocked shots (24). Set an Ohio State freshman season record for field goal percentage (.569). Scored a career-high 26 points vs. Central Connecticut in his college debut.
