Named Second Team All-Big East as a junior and Third Team All-Big East as a senior. Leaves St. John's with 1,054 points in two seasons, a 15.1 ppg average. He became the 19th player in school history to surpass the 1,000-point mark. Also had career averages of 5.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.9 steals per game. His three-pointers made (108) and attempted (294) rank third all-time at St. John’s. Spent two years at Tallahassee CC where he became the school's all-time leading scorer (1,329 points). He was a First Team NJCAA selection after his sophomore year. At Nike Desert Classic, averaged 11.3 ppg, sixth-best among 40 players in Classic.

As a senior, finished second on the team in scoring (15.3 ppg), tied for second in rebounds (5.5 rpg), third in assists (2.9 apg) and second in steals (2.4 spg). Scored at least 20 points in seven of the Red Storm's last 10 games. He reached double figures in 27 of 33 games and led the team in scoring 14 times. Hit the game-winning shot at Duke on Jan. 26, finishing with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Was named Big East Co-Player of the Week after averaging 21.0 ppg, 9.5 rpg and 5.0 apg in wins over Connecticut and Duke. Scored 22 points in the Big East Championship game win vs. Connecticut and was named Tournament MVP. In the conference opener vs. Pittsburgh, showed all-around game with 12 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and six steals.

As a junior, led the Red Storm in scoring (14.9 ppg). Scored in double figures in 29 of 37 games as St. John's advanced to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament. Named Big East co-Player of the Week after scoring a career-high 40 points vs. Duke at Madison Square Garden on Jan. 24. Scored 20 or more points five times and led the team in steals nine times. Had 21 points and 12 rebounds in a win at Syracuse. Had back-to-back 17-point games in the second and third rounds of the NCAA Tournament vs Indiana and Maryland. Had 14 points and 12 rebounds in a Big East Tournament win over Miami.

Averaged 22.5 ppg as a sophomore at Tallahassee CC in 1996-97. Led Tallahassee to the Panhandle Conference Championship and was a First team All-Conference selection for second straight season. Also averaged 5.9 rpg.

As a freshman at Tallahassee CC, averaged 17.8 ppg and was named First Team All-Panhandle Conference.
