Also ranks third in career steals (176), fourth in career games started (105), ninth in career three-point percentage and 13th in career scoring (1,595 points). College highlights at Purdue As a senior, started all 33 games that he played, scoring in double figures a team-leading 25 times and grabbing a career-best 141 rebounds. Led team in three-pointers made (66) and was second leading scorer (12.5 ppg), behind fellow draft prospect Brian Cardinal. In the semifinals of the Maui Invitational, scored 19 points, including three treys, on 8-for-11 shooting, leading the Boilermakers to an upset of then No. 6 and eventual NCAA Tournament runner-up Florida. Against Minnesota, tallied a season-high 25 points, nailing three treys to become the school's all-time leader in career three-pointers. Followed that up two days later with another 25-point performance on 6-for-11 shooting from behind the arc and also added six rebounds to lead Purdue to an upset victory over No. 11 Indiana. Played a key role in upset of No. 3 seed Oklahoma in the NCCA second round by scoring 15 points and grabbing six rebounds. Finished with a team-high 18 points and seven rebounds in Purdue's West Regional semifinal victory over Gonzaga. Named Third Team All-Big Ten by the coaches and media as a junior. Started every game and led the team in scoring (15.2 ppg), three-point field goals (85), and minutes played (30.7 mpg). Also had a team-high 28 double-figure scoring games, including 11 20-plus point games. Stepped up his play in games against Big Ten opponents, averaging 17.6 points and scoring in double figures in 16 of 17 games. Poured in a career-high 30 points on 6-for-12 shooting at Illinois. Set the school single-season record for three-point percentage (.500) as a sophomore on his way to earning Third Team All-Big Ten honors from the coaches and honorable mention from media. Suffered a severely sprained ankle in February. Up to that point, had been shooting 57.6 percent from the field and had averaged 20.2 points in his previous six games. Still managed to lead the Big Ten in three-point field goal percentage (.500) and sink 24-of-25 free throws (.960) in Big Ten games. As a freshman, was fourth on the team in scoring (10.2) and second in field goal percentage (.470). Recorded 46 steals, second-best all-time by a Purdue freshman. Finished the season ranked seventh in the Big Ten in steals (31).
