Position: Guard BirthDate: Apr. 21, 1978 Birthplace: Springfield, IL Highlights Finished 12th on Bradley's all-time scoring list with 1,453 points and is the 12th player in school history to earn First Team All-Missouri Valley Conference honors twice (1999 and 2000) in his career. Finished third on the school career list in three-pointers made (182). Topped 1,000 minutes played in each of his last three seasons. Son of Bobby Dye, who played college basketball at Western Illinois. At Portsmouth Invitational Tournament, averaged 9.7 points, 3.3 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game. Had eight steals in three games. College highlights at Bradley Was voted preseason Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year as a senior. Finished third in the conference in scoring (16.6 ppg). In eight games against eventual NCAA Tournament teams, Dye averaged 19.0 points, 3.1 assists and 2.0 steals per game. He also finished fourth in the conference in free throw shooting (.831) and sixth in steals (2.0 spg). Scored a career-high 31 points vs. Evansville on Feb. 2. Led the league in steals (2.72 spg) and his total of 82 was the third-best in school history. Had 20 points and nine rebounds against Penn State. Tied the Missouri Valley Conference and school single-game record with nine steals on Jan. 13 against Southwest Missouri State. Was voted to the Missouri Valley Most Improved Team as a sophomore and also earned honorable mention All-MVC honors. Upped his scoring average from 3.1 ppg as a freshman to 12.5 ppg. Made 57 three-point baskets. Had a season-high 28 points vs. Evansville. Scored 23 points at Illinois in the first game against the Fighting Illini in 24 years. Averaged 3.1 ppg as a freshman.
