Highlights
An early entry candidate for the 2000 NBA Draft. Named NAIA Player of the Year, and NAIA National Tournament MVP, as he led the Running Eagles to their second consecutive NAIA National Championship. Transferred to Life University in Georgia from University of Memphis for sophomore season. Enrolled at Memphis for fall 1997 semester, but did not become eligible to play until December of 1998.

College highlights at Life University
As a sophomore, named MVP in all five tournaments in which Life participated. With the NAIA championship game tied, hit the game-winning shot with 12 seconds left in regulation. Earned First Team All-American honors, after leading the team in scoring (22.1 ppg), steals (99) and blocked shots (63). Scored 30 or more points eight times. Scored a season-high 39 points, including 16 consecutive points, against The Masters College, making 14-of-25 attempts from the floor. During one five-game stretch, averaged 35.6 points per game. Ranked second on the team in assists (112).

College highlights at Memphis
As a freshman at Memphis, led team in scoring in Conference USA games (17.1 ppg). For the year, averaged 16.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 2.0 steals per game. Registered a blocked shot in each of the team's last eight games. Recorded 18 points, eight assists, five steals and four rebounds in his first start against South Florida. Scored a then-career-high 35 points in a win over St. Louis.
