As a senior, ranked second on the team in scoring (12.5 ppg), rebounding (7.0 rpg), field goal percentage (.553) and blocked shots (33), trailing fellow draft prospect Stromile Swift in all four categories. Team captain was one of two Tigers to start all 34 games. Led the team in scoring six times and in rebounding nine times. Scored season-high 26 points against Fresno State. Had double-digit rebounds in five games. Averaged 13.3 points and 6.0 rebounds in three NCAA Tournament games.

Ranked second on the team in scoring as a junior, averaging 12.7 ppg. Led the team and finished second in the conference in rebounding (9.7 rpg). His rebounding average was the highest at LSU since Geert Hammink averaged 10.2 to lead the SEC in 1993. Pulled down 17 rebounds in his first LSU game against Texas-Pan American. Led the team in rebounding in 20 of 27 games. Scored 30 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in an overtime loss to Alabama.
