Named Honorable Mention All-America by The Associated Press as a senior. Transferred to Cincinnati after playing two years at Indiana Hills Community College. At Nike Desert Classic, named to all-tournament team after averaging 14.7 ppg, second-best in tournament. Shot 56 percent from the field and also grabbed 4.7 rpg.

College highlights at Cincinnati
As a senior, was a First Team All-Conference USA selection for second consecutive season. Became the third player in conference history to earn back-to-back Player of the Week honors, averaging 18.3 points, and 10.3 rebounds in three wins for the period ending January 2, 2000. Followed that with a 21-point average in two games the following week. Averaged 15.5 points in NCAA Tournament. Served as co-captain.

As a junior, earned First Team All-Conference honors by leading Bearcats in scoring (14.9 ppg), rebounding (7.2) and steals (51). Also led team and conference in field goal percentage (.583). Started Cincinnati career with 15-point, 10-rebound game in season opener vs. Rhode Island. Named to C-USA all-tournament team after averaging 19.5 ppg and 7.5 rpg in two games.

As a sophomore, named 1997-98 National Junior College Player of the Year after leading Indian Hills Community College of Iowa to second straight national championship. Led Indian Hills to 76-1 record over two seasons. Earned Region XI MVP and First Team All-America honors, averaging 21.9 ppg and 9.3 rpg.

Helped lead Indian Hills Community College to first of two straight national championships as a freshman by averaging 14.3 points and 7.5 rebounds per game
