As a senior, named to All-Big 12 Conference Third Team by The Associated Press and Big 12 Coaches. Selected to All-Big 12 Underrated Team and to Cyclone Challenge All-Tournament Team. Started all 37 games (tying a school record), averaging 12.5 ppg and shooting 42.3 percent from beyond the arc (fifth in Big 12). Ranks second on school's all-time single-season 3-pointers made list with 99. Recorded at least one 3-pointer in 33 games. Played 40 minutes five times. Scored 15 points on five treys vs. Oklahoma State. Recorded a career-high 20 points vs. Texas, going 7-for-10 from the field, including 5-for-7 from beyond the arc. Shot well in four NCAA Tournament games, making 14 of 25 3-pointers, including a 5-for-9 performance vs. Michigan State (17 points) and a 4-for-5 night vs. UCLA (16 points).

As a junior, named to Big 12 Conference All-Newcomer Team in first year with Iowa State after averaging 10.3 ppg. Hit a team-high 47 3-pointers. Missed two games with head and leg injuries after being hit by a pickup truck but was back in the lineup within a week.

As a sophomore, attended Monroe CC (N.Y.) and finished career as second-leading scorer in school history. Selected to play in junior college All-Star game. Named Second Team National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division III All-American after averaging 23.4 ppg, 4.7 apg and 3.3 spg. Awarded NJCAA All-Tournament honors after scoring a game-high 27 points in championship game loss to Fergus Falls (Minn.) Community College. Had 34 points in Region 15 title game, the win that propelled Monroe to the championship contest. Recorded 41 points vs. both Sullivan County (N.Y.) Community College and Montgomery College.

Attended Shorter Junior College in North Little Rock as a freshman. Averaged 12 points and three assists.
