Pistons vs. Heat
Coach's Edge

Detroit is going to off-guard Jerry Stackhouse more often. Stack has improved his scoring from 14.5 ppg last season to 23.7 ppg this season, taking pressure off Grant Hill. Against Miami, the Pistons have an athleticism advantage. Stackhouse and Hill combine for 50 points a night -- more than double Jamal Mashburn and Dan Majerle at the same positions for Miami.

ANIMATE THIS PLAY DIAGRAM WITH SHOCKWAVE
(A) Lindsey Hunter (1) brings the ball up the floor on Jerry Stackhouse's (42) side. Stack runs Dan Majerle (9) off the high screen and posts up on the block.
(B) Stack (42) gets the ball on the block, and Hunter clears out the side. The Deck is Stacked against Majerle (9). Stackhouse is a much better athlete, and he's going to score in a one-on-one situation.
