Adam Berkhoel held off 24 shots then held the trophy.

 

Denver was glad to reach Boston. The loose, relaxed Pioneers enjoyed themselves. It showed. Gabe Gauthier banged home a first-period goal and Adam Berkhoel held Maine scoreless as Denver beat the Black Bears 1-0 to clinch its first title in 35 years.
