    Get the Coach's Edge

Let the experts at Coach's Edge get you ready for the NCAA Tournament with an inside look at the Dayton playbook.

The Flyers jumped on the scene early this season by knocking off Kentucky. After that, Dayton couldn't quite put together a long enough winning streak to garner serious national attention, but it did end up winning 11 games in the Atlantic 10.

Mark Ashman can be counted on for good numbers game in and game out, and Tony Stanley has benefitted from defenses focusing on Ashman inside. Stanley leads the team in scoring and rebounds well from a guard slot. Freshman Brooks Hall would have gotten serious press had he played for a major program; instead, he just hit 40 percent of his 3-pointers (tops in the conference) and boards even better than Stanley.

One concern is playing away from home. Dayton was 13-2 at home this season, and just 9-6 away. -- Greg Collins, ESPN.com
