What I like most about Duke is its offensive firepower. Everybody in the Blue Devils' rotation can score. Even Nick Horvath off the bench, although he hasn't played much, is an outstanding shooter.

Because of Duke's scoring ability, a team can't concentrate on one play. If you stop Shane Battier, Chris Carrawell or Nate James will hurt you. Freshman Carlos Boozer has developed into an effective inside player. The Blue Devils will play four outside and one inside. They can all attack the basket and handle the ball. That's their best quality.
Considering the turnover of players this year, it's surprising how well Duke did. Carrawell and Battier have stepped up to become tremendous players. And the freshmen were obviously the right people for the right time. Remember, this is the first time they have had the adversity of players leaving early, and Mike Krzyzewski handled it well.
Duke's biggest weakness is its depth, although it's not as much of a weakness now that freshman Mike Dunleavy Jr. is back. Horvath and Matt Christensen, who hadn't played many minutes, were forced to rotate as the sixth man while Dunleavy was out with mononucleosis. Even with Dunleavy back, it's a short rotation. However, Dunleavy is almost like a sixth and seventh man because he can go in for Jason Williams and Carlos Boozer and any player in between and give teams matchup problems.
Their outlook for the tournament improves with Dunleavy back, but the Blue Devils don't rebound the ball well. They could lose if they play a power, inside team and get players in foul trouble. They have the potential to get to the Final Four, but they could also be out in the second round. -- Dan Bonner, ESPN
