Williams also made all five of his free-throw attempts to the envy of Jayhawk fans. RANDOM THOUGHT............................... Until Kansas lost, the numbers favored the Jayhawks reaching Minneapolis. While there have never been four No. 1s in a Final Four, three times in the '90s saw three No. 1s win their regions. In two of those cases (1997, '99), a No. 4 seed was the fourth team in the Final Four. Kansas was the No. 2 seed that joined three No. 1s in '93. STOCK RISING.....................................
