Coaching background
  • Arrived at Indiana as an assistant to Bob Knight in 1997-98 season.
  • Served as an assistant coach at Alabama for two seasons, including the 1995-96 season when the Tide reached the NIT Final Four.
  • From 1991-95, coached in the CBA under current Indiana assistant John Treloar. The first four years were in Wichita Falls before the team moved to Chicago.
  • First college coaching experience came as an assistant at Miles College in 1989-90.
  • Also spent two summers coaching the Venzuela National team, as well as professional teams in Venzuela.

    As a player
  • Played his college basketball at Alabama from 1980-83. Ranks among the Tide's top 25 players in career points with 1,211.
  • Drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks in the second round of the 1983 NBA Draft.
  • Played two years in Europe, for teams in Switzerland and Italy.
  • Played for the Topeka Sizzlers of the CBA in 1988-89.
