NEW YORK (AP) _ Rick Sarille returned the opening kickoff 81 yards for a touchdown and also scored on a 7-yard run as Wagner beat Sacred Heart 33-0 Saturday.

Sarille carried 20 times for 101 yards to become the second-leading rusher in Wagner history with 4,188 yards. Terry Underwood is the career leader with 5,010.

Wagner's Lou Simone completed 16 of 21 passes for 207 yards, including a 27-yard TD pass to Daryl Yarmolovich that gave the Seahawks (2-0, 2-0 Northeast Conference) a 20-0 lead in the first period.

Simone scored on a 1-yard run with 5:05 left in the first quarter to make it 27-0 over Sacred Heart (1-2, 0-1).
