MUNCIE, Ind. (AP) _ Chester Taylor rushed for 133 yards and a touchdown Saturday to lead Toledo to a 23-10 win over Ball State.

Toledo gained 257 yards on the ground and intercepted two passes from Ball State quarterback Brian Conn.

Toledo took a 13-0 lead in the third quarter on a 33-yard field goal by Todd France, but Ball State closed to 13-10 on a 21-yard field goal by Kevin Jennings and a 2-yard TD run by Quavis State.

Toledo pulled away in the fourth quarter on a 21-yard field goal by France and a 1-yard touchdown run by William Bratton.
