TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP) _ Adrian Brown rushed for 51 yards and scored three touchdowns to help Youngstown defeat Indiana State 31-28 Saturday. Brown's first touchdown came on a 9-yard run with 1:23 remaining in the second quarter. He scored again in the third and fourth quarters on runs of 1-yard and 3-yards respectively. Indiana State started off the scoring early with a 17-yard run by quarterback Sheraton Fox with 12:31 remaining in the first quarter. But Youngstown's quarterback Jeff Ryan answered with a 19-yard touchdown run of his own. Fox then threw a 27-yard touchdown pass to Marques Clayton for another score to end the first quarter 14-7. Ryan completed 13 of 26 passes and threw for 173 yards. He led Youngstown with 90 yards rushing. Fox rushed 128 yards for Indiana State and threw for 86 yards, completing nine of 16 attempts.
