EASTON, Pa. (AP) _ Colgate's Keith Brooks recovered two blocked punts in the end zone for touchdowns, and Tim Lavoie added two rushing scores as the Red Raiders routed Lafayette 56-14 on Saturday.

Quarterback Ryan Vena also ran for a touchdown and passed for another as Colgate (5-1, 2-1 Patriot) took a 42-0 halftime lead, and outgained Lafayette (1-4, 0-3) 430-164 in total offense for the game.

Ed Weiss led Colgate's ground attack with 74 yards, including a dazzling 69-yard scoring run with a minute left in the game. Lavoie scored on a 15-yard rush in the second quarter and from one yard out in the third.

Lafayette's offense finally clicked in the fourth quarter with two scores after Bill Stocker ran into the end zone from one yard out for his first career TD. Andy May then nabbed a 28-yard throw from Leopards backup quarterback Harry Armstrong with 1:28 left in the game for another score.
