NACOGDOCHES, Texas (AP) _ KaRon Coleman rushed for 173 yards and two touchdowns as Stephen F. Austin beat McNeese State 40-14 on Saturday.

After getting off to a sluggish start and falling behind 7-0, Stephen F. Austin (3-2, 2-0 Southland Conference) scored 26 consecutive points to take control. Coleman ignited the Lumberjacks' outburst with a six-yard touchdown run to tie the score late in the first quarter.

After Coleman's run, things quickly began to unravel for McNeese State (1-4, 0-1), as the Cougars gave up an eight-yard touchdown pass from Wes Pate to Zach Woods a minute later and a 20-yard interception return by Kyle Dews early in the second quarter.
