BALTIMORE (AP) _ Willie McGirt passed for 199 yards and two touchdowns as Morgan State came from behind in the second half to defeat Towson State 28-22 Saturday night in a non-conference game.

McGirt connected with Armand Walters on a 61-yard pass with 11:48 left in the game to give the Bears (1-3) the lead for good and their first victory of the season.

Ali Culpepper rushed for 114 yards, including a 3-yard touchdown run at 8:23 in the third. K.C. Vasquez added field goals from 23 and 38 yards to seal the victory.

Towson (4-1) outgained Morgan State both on the air and on the ground, but the Tigers lost three fumbles and quarterback Joe Lee was intercepted twice.

Two touchdowns by Jason Corle _ a 65-yard scoring run and an 11-yard touchdown pass _ and an Ed Kulic field goal gave the Tigers a 16-3 halftime lead.

Lee, who finished with 262 passing yards, found Jamal White for a 13-yard touchdown pass at 4:38 in the third for Towson's final points of the game.

Corle led all rushers with 193 rushes on 29 carries.
