CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) _ Travis Wilson rushed for two touchdowns and threw for a third as Wofford rolled to a 47-16 victory over The Citadel on Saturday.

Wilson had scoring runs of 1- and 3 yards for the Terriers (5-3, 4-2 Southern Conference), who set a school record for league victories in just their third Southern Conference season.

The Bulldogs have lost four straight and are 1-7, their worst start since 1966.

Citadel led 13-0 on Deon Jackson's halfback pass to quarterback Drew Johnson for a 33-yard touchdown and Jackson's 1-yard TD run.

But it was all Wilson and Wofford after that. He brought the Terriers to 14-13 on a 76-yard touchdown pass to Jesse McCoy.

Wilson's two touchdown gave the Terriers a 30-16 lead midway through the third quarter.

Wofford piled up 447 yards on offense. Wilson hit five of his six passes for 149 yards and rushed for 28 yards.

Jackson led The Citadel with 79 yards rushing, but he gained only two in the second half.
