IT WAS OVER WHEN ...
The Hokies, already leading, began handing the ball to Lee Suggs, who bruised his way to 73 tough yards on 20 carries ... and scored three touchdowns.
GAME BALL GOES TO ...
Michael Vick, of course, who was the primary reason the Hokies were in position to play in the Gator Bowl to begin with. Vick passed for 205 yards and a touchdown, and scored a TD of his own on a 6-yard run.

Grand Finale?
Michael Vick
Vick had 225 total yards and two touchdowns in the Gator Bowl win.

In what might be his last collegiate appearance, Michael Vick did not disappoint in the Gator Bowl. The Hokies' quarterback got Virginia Tech on the board in a hurry, throwing a 23-yard TD just 1:37 into the game. He ran in for another score later in the first quarter, leading the Hokies to a 41-20 win over Clemson. Running back Lee Suggs made it almost impossible for the Tigers to catch up, finishing with 73 yards on 20 carries and three TDs.

"I think I speak for ALL VT fans when I say, "Thank you." I like Bowden and Dantzler a lot. ... Good game, Tigers. I could have sworn Vick changed into a #1 Clemson jersey at times ..."
