"Is anyone else out there thinking if Colorado can claim it deserves a shot at the national title with two-losses, then Tennessee should be able to do the same. After dominating Big Ten power Michigan, the Vols looked like the best team in the nation."

WITH MEL KIPER JR.

Tennessee turned the game into a one-sided affair with big plays. Casey Clausen was hot and had the receivers to get the job done. That was the difference. Clausen had Donte Stallworth and Kelley Washington outside and tight end Jason Witten underneath. Travis Stephens was contained in the first half and wasn't a big factor, but the passing game was the reason why Tennessee put up big numbers. And Michigan didn't have the firepower to match the Vols. Michigan's Marquise Walker had five catches for 99 yards, but he didn't have 10-12 catches like he normally has. Tennessee did a good job overall of playing solid defense.

IT WAS OVER WHEN
When Casey Clausen took the first snap. The Wolverines could do little to stop him. He threw three TDs and ran for two more and led the Vols to 483 yards on offense, the most allowed by Michigan all season.
GAME BALL GOES TO
A no-brainer -- Casey Clausen. But we also give one to Kelley Washington, who had two TDs. And how can we forget about the offensive line, that gave Clausen plenty of time to throw.

MICHIGAN CLUBHOUSE

It was a history-making performance by Michigan on New Year's Day in the Capital One Florida Citrus Bowl. Unfortunately for the Wolverines, it wasn't the kind of history they wanted to make.

TENNESSEE CLUBHOUSE

QB Casey Clausen was upset with last year's showing in the Cotton Bowl, and he wanted to do something about it this year. Mission accomplished.
