On a cold, snowy day in Boise, Clemson and Woodrow Dantzler were red-hot. Dantzler threw for four TDs and Clemson rolled over Louisiana Tech 49-24 in the Humanitarian Bowl on Monday.

WITH ROD GILMORE   

The game was all "woodshed" Woody Dantzler on a blue track. The fast track in Boise gave him a tremendous ability to use his speed and to throw with accuracy. He put on a show for Clemson. Louisiana Tech struggled with the snow. The conditions made it tougher for the Bulldogs to get their passing game on track. Plus, Clemson just had more speed offensively and defensively.

IT WAS OVER WHEN
The Tigers cashed in a pair of interceptions to put away the contest with two touchdowns in just over two minutes. Cornerback Brian Mance's interception led to a score and safety Charles Hafley picked off a deflected pass on Louisiana Tech's next possession that led to another TD and gave Clemson a 42-10 cushion with 4:34 remaining in the quarter.
GAME BALL GOES TO
So many players to choose from, but this is a career award as well. It would have been easy for Clemson to phone this in, but QB Woodrow Dantzler wouldn't let it happen. He threw for 4 TDs in the cold and snow and leaves Clemson a winner in his final game.


CLEMSON CLUBHOUSE
Even in the snow, QB Woodrow Dantzler was dazzling on Dec. 31 in the Crucial.com Humanitarian Bowl.

LOUISIANA TECH CLUBHOUSE
Louisiana Tech gave Clemson a game in the first half of the Crucial.com Humanitarian Bowl on Dec. 31. But the Bulldogs were snowed under in the third period, when the Tigers scored on all four of their possessions.
