Dayne reigns again
Ron Dayne didn't exactly bowl Stanford over in the first half, but the Heisman Trophy winner eventually put his unmistakeable stamp on the Rose Bowl by rushing for 200 yards and a TD in Wisconsin's 17-9 victory. His big day, sparked by a 64-yard dash on Wisconsin's first possession of the second half, earned him a second Rose Bowl MVP and helped the Badgers become the first Big Ten team to win consecutive Rose Bowls.

Wisconsin's defense blew up Stanford's fourth-and-12 play in the final two minutes by sacking Todd Husak after Stanford had reached the Badgers' 41.
