Travis Minor put the 'Noles up by 10 with a two-yard TD run with 9:55 left in the fourth quarter. With the FSU defense playing like it was, that's all the cushion the Seminoles needed. Florida State QB Chris Weinke, who didn't panic despite missing two of his biggest receiving threats. Weinke completed 23-of-34 for 332 yards and two TDs, completing passes to 11 receivers. Michigan State's Plaxico Burress caught a 15-yard pass to convert a third-and-9 and help the Spartans run out the clock. Burress also recovered an onside kick after the Wolverines had cut their deficit to three with 2:44 left. Burress and Bill Burke, who were unstoppable. Before leaving with an injured right wrist in the fourth quarter, Tee Martin led the Vols to 458 total yards. He completed 21 of 35 passes for 283 yards, with a touchdown and two interceptions. Hamilton, who found a way to win despite two fumbles and two INTs. Hamilton did everything, completing 14 of 26 passes for 273 yards and two TDs and rushing 14 times for 77 yards and a score. The Bulldogs' go-ahead score came on an 11-yard TD pass from Matt Wyatt to Matt Butler with 19 seconds left in the game. Bulldogs return man Pig Prather, who set up the winning score with a 41-yard return on a free kick after the Tigers took an intentional safety with 47 seconds left.
