MALIBU, California (Ticker) -- LaToya Thomas and Cynthia Hall each scored 20 points to lead all five starters in double figures as 18th-ranked Mississippi State topped Pepperdine, 90-80, for its 11th straight win to open the season.

Thomas also pulled down 10 rebounds for the Lady Bulldogs (11-0), who begin the Southeastern Conference slate on Thursday at Florida.

Jennifer Fambrough added 18 points and nine rebounds before fouling out, Angela Harris scored 17 points and Nitra Perry had 12 for Mississippi State. The Lady Bulldogs shot nearly 61 percent (31-of-51) from the field to make up for 24 turnovers.

Damaris Hinojosa led all scorers with 24 points on 10-of-17 shooting for Pepperdine (5-5), which had a three-game winning streak stopped.

Nadja Morgan chipped in 16 points and six rebounds off the bench before fouling out for the Waves, who shot 42 percent (27-of-64), including 8-of-13 from 3-point range.
