MIAMI (Ticker) -- Tamicha Jackson scored 14 points on 6-of-10 shooting as third-ranked Louisiana Tech topped Florida International, 65-54, in a Sunbelt Conference matchup.

Jackson also chipped in four assists, three steals and three rebounds for the Lady Techsters (12-2, 3-0 Sunbelt), who have won 11 of their last 12 games. Their only loss since the end of November came against top-ranked and unbeaten Connecticut.

Betty Lennox added 12 points and Catrina Frierson had 11, both off the bench, for Louisiana Tech. The Techsters held Florida International to 38 percent shooting (18-of-47) and had a 41-29 rebounding advantage.

Gergana Slavtcheva led all scorers with 17 points for the Golden Panthers (6-8, 1-2), who have lost three of their last four games.

The teams combined for 47 turnovers, with Lennox committing eight for Louisiana Tech and Laura Camps eight for Florida International.
