BOX SCORE
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Once again, twin sisters Coco and Kelly Miller were too much to contain. Coco Miller had a game-high 22 points and Kelly Miller scored 18 before fouling out with 8:27 left, leading No. 3 Georgia to an 84-73 win over Vanderbilt. When the Miller twins were growing up, they often played each other 1-on-1. "We didn't really compete against each other," Coco said. "That's the main reason we didn't keep score." On Sunday, the final score showed that Georgia (21-2, 6-1 Southeastern Conference) had won its seventh straight. "I don't think it's specifically the Millers," Vanderbilt coach Jim Foster said. "You're preparing for a basketball team that has an awful lot of dimensions." Coco Miller hit a key jumper from the left side with 49.2 seconds left and the shot clock running down. Vanderbilt (14-7, 2-4) had just cut Georgia's lead to 78-73 when Coco got the ball at the top of the key, moved to the left and made a jumper that stopped the Commodores' last threat. "That side was kind of cleared out," Coco said. "I was trying to get as close to the basketball as possible." Tawana McDonald added 17 and had nine rebounds for the Bulldogs. "I thought we played very well early in this game," Georgia coach Andy Landers said. "It seems like we've been out on the road forever." Freshman Chantelle Anderson had a strong game for Vandy, scoring a game-high 28 points and adding 10 rebounds. It was the fourth double-double for the 6-6 center. "Our offensive execution was better than it had been in weeks," Commodores coach Jim Foster said. The Bulldogs went up 22-8 early in the first half, but Vandy then went on a 9-0 run to stay within striking distance. It was the seventh straight win for the Bulldogs and the fifth straight loss for the Commodores. Georgia has not lost since Jan. 2, and has not dropped an SEC contest since Dec. 2. Vandy last won Jan. 13. At that time the Commodores had won 13 straight games, but they have not had a victory since. | ALSO SEE Womens College Basketball Scoreboard
