COLUMBIA, South Carolina (Ticker) -- Tasha Hamilton scored 18 points as 13th-ranked Auburn took control in the second half and posted a 71-62 Southeastern Conference victory over South Carolina. Conswella Sparrow added 15 points and Tiffany Krantz 14 for Auburn (17-4, 5-3 SEC), which erased a one-point halftime deficit by outscoring the Lady Gamecocks, 37-27, over the final 20 minutes. Auburn shot 54 percent (14-of-26) in the second half to finish at 52 percent (28-of-54) overall. Le'Coe Willingham grabbed 16 rebounds for the Lady Tigers, who also held a 38-27 advantage on the boards. Shannon Segres netted 13 points and Kelly Morrone 12 for the Lady Gamecocks (11-10, 1-7), who shot 42 percent (23-of-55) and committed 20 turnovers.
