NEW ORLEANS (Ticker) -- Janelle Burse had a monster game and Grace Daley made history as 22nd-ranked Tulane held off DePaul, 86-76, in a Conference USA clash. Burse scored 39 points on 17-of-24 shooting and grabbed 18 rebounds for Tulane (19-2, 8-2 C-USA), which extended its home winning streak to 18 games. Daley added 16 points, becoming the second player in league history to reach the 2,000 mark. The Green Wave moved 1 1/2 games ahead of second-place Memphis in the Conference USA National Division. Tulane also got 18 points and six rebounds from Fabrecia Roberson and shot 54 percent from the field (35-of-65). Shavaughne Desecki led DePaul with 18 points off the bench and Laura Sobieszczyk and Sylvia Blakeslee added 14 apiece. Blakeslee also had 13 rebounds for the Blue Demons, who shot under 40 percent (29-of-73) and lost for only the second time in eight games.
