COLUMBIA, Missouri (Ticker) -- Hot-shooting Julie Helm scored 22 points as Missouri edged No. 24 Kansas, 65-62, in a Big 12 Conference contest. Helm made 10-of-12 shots, including both of her 3-pointers, as the Tigers (17-8, 7-7 Big 12) defeated the Jayhawks for the first time since 1997. Marlena Williams scored 17 points and Amy Monsees added 15 for Missouri, which shot 47 percent (24-of-51). Williams made 7-of-11 shots and Monsees grabbed nine rebounds. Lynn Pride scored 21 points for Kansas (19-7, 10-4), continuing to climb the school's all-time lists. Pride registered her 1,700th career point and moved past Lynette Woodard into third place on the all-time minutes list.
