RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -- Ruth Riley was 12-for-14 from the field and scored 32 points as No. 11 Notre Dame beat Liberty 85-68 Sunday in the championship of the Wachovia Invitational.

Riley, selected the tournament MVP, scored eight points as the
Fighting Irish (4-1) took a 15-6 lead with 15:32 remaining in the first half.
She then scored nine points in the first 3:45 of the second half to spark a 13-6 run that gave Notre Dame a 52-42 lead and the Lady Flames (2-3) could get no closer than eight the rest of the way.
Alicia Ratay added 17 points for Notre Dame.
Liberty got 17 points from Zandrique Cason and Sarah Farley. Sharon Wilkerson added 11 and Elena Kisseleva 10.
