MARIETTA, Georgia (Ticker) -- Coco Miller scored 18 points and had four steals and her twin sister Kelly Miller added 11 points and six assists, leading a balanced offense that carried No. 6 Georgia to a 78-61 victory over Georgia Tech. Tawana McDonald scored 12 points for the Bulldogs (6-2), Deanna Nolan added 11 and freshman Christi Thomas grabbed 14 rebounds and blocked four shots. Jaime Kruppa led the Yelllow Jackets (3-3) with 22 points and 10 rebounds, and Niesha Butler added 20 and four assists. Tamika Butler scored 13 points, but the rest of the team managed a total of six points. The Bulldogs held the Yellow Jackets to 27 percent shooting (9-of-33) in the first half, when they built a 45-23 lead. Georgia shot 46 percent (30-of-65) for the game, after going 21-of-40 in the first half. Georgia controlled the boards, outrebounding Georgia Tech 55-34, including a 20-12 advantage on the offensive glass.
