NORMAN, Oklahoma (Ticker) -- Reserve Jadrea Seeley scored 15 of her 17 points in the first half as No. 15 Oklahoma posted a 75-61 victory over North Texas. Seeley's layup with 23 seconds remaining capped a 6-0 spurt that gave Oklahoma (6-3) a 42-34 halftime advantage. The Sooners' lead in the second half never dipped below 10 points and rose as high as 16. Caton Hill had 12 points and 13 rebounds for Oklahoma before fouling out. Jen Cunningham chipped in 11 points but also made an early exit due to fouls. LaNeishea Caufield scored nine points and Stacey Dales collected eight and seven assists for the Sooners, who have won four of their last five games. Jalie Mitchell had 22 points and Kristin Tramonte added 11 for North Texas (8-1), which suffered its first loss after winning eight straight for the best start in school history.
